Melissa Williams-Brown went to extraordinary lengths to fake a college degree she does not have, including claims in engagement announcements she placed in several newspapers - including the Los Angeles Times and Irvine World News.

School Officials: Melissa Williams-Brown was never a student

Melissa's claims of a bachelors degree from George Washington University were proven false in statements from school officials.

Miranda Sieg of alumni relations said she "cannot find any records" of her enrollment. Desiree Bascomb, a spokesperson from media relations, said in an email: "Our records office is unable to find a record of her attendance.
