Melissa Williams-Brown, a 52-year old Adelaide woman, went to extraordinary lengths to fake a college degree she didn’t have. She made the false claims in engagement announcements she placed in several newspapers - including the Los Angeles Times and Irvine World News.
Emails from officials at George Washington University said Melissa Williams-Brown was never even enrolled and had not earned a degree as she had claimed in various newspaper articles.
